What is Aurawra?
Aurawra is Sydney’s homegrown furry convention. Bringing together a talented team of organisers from the Sydney Furry Community who have many years of experience in management, lending their expertise to some of Australia's existing furry conventions, as well as organising local NSW events. It is a convention whose motto stands as “For the community, by the community.” to give not just local furs but those interstate and even internationally a great space to enjoy being part of the fandom. It is a three-day ticket to good fun, with good friends, in a great space.

What can you expect at Aurawra?
Aurawra is a three-day furry convention held at the PARKROYAL Parramatta Hotel. It is a unique location, 10 minutes walk from the train station and about half an hour from the Sydney CBD. We proudly host panels of all kinds, a Saturday and Sunday night dance, a Dealer’s Den, and, weather permitting, outdoor events such as the fursuit parade. A proper schedule will be released as we get closer to the date, along with Guests of Honour and other details, so stay tuned to our website and social media for up-to-date information!

Where is Aurawra?
Aurawra is held in the PARKROYAL Hotel, located in Parramatta, a growing hub of culture as Sydney’s River City.
Located in the heart of Sydney's River CBD, a short walk from Paramatta Station, and situated on the Paramatta River, Aurawra will be surrounded by bustling food stops, bars, and entertainment.
It is half an hour from Sydney Central, with the T1 train line running directly between the two CBDs. There are also various bus routes available; check the Transport NSW website for more info!
